Not that it's going to matter, as it hasn't for quite some time, but this controversy in Ames over weight mgmt is just strange. Dresser/Metcalf had all freaking summer to figure out Parker/Degen and what weights to wrestle. Arguably, ISU only has three guys worth a shit and two of them are at 149? WTH.
For some reason, they've had this love affair with Parker as evidenced when they ran off Storr. I don't remember the excuse they used when he left, but it was very odd and we remember the confrontation matside.
How they're treating a kid like Degen after what he's gone thru is sad. And you better believe that guys like Schwab will use it against ISU in recruiting the Iowa high schoolers. It isn't such a big deal to TnT because they cherry pick anyway.
I feel really bad for Degen for rehabbing for an entire year with the expectation that, if healthy, 149 was his. And we know from the first hand source that he's healthy.
The circus in Ames would be more newsworthy if they were a relevant program.

A few is at least 3…that means 75% of Lee, Murin, Kem, and Warner will wrestle on Sunday.
If that happens, it's gonna get ugly in a hurry for ISU.
