*****Iowa vs Minnesota Game Thread*****

Just going to enjoy laughing at the officials the rest of the way. They are an embarrassment to the game.

At least we are up 14 now, but my gosh they are PATHETIC.

11-3 for fouls in the 2nd half
Especially for an Iowa team they typically makes more free throws than their opponents attempt. Im fine with Iowa being dinged for a few more fouls than normal because they are pressing more aggressively. But Minnesota 's 3 fouls is comical.

I wouldn’t say that. He was atrocious in the 1st half. I’d say Kris and Rebraca played better.
Yup.

Connor did his usual junkyard dog stuff, but he also gets carried away with that sh** sometimes, and of course unfortunately you just have to deal with it at this point in his career, even if it concedes some extra FTs or shots made/and-1s...........

Nah...Minny is fouling now, so it's going to look somewhat even by the end of this. Nothing to see.

I didn't mind against Purdue when there was a big difference (obvioulsy some missed calls...NO TEAM EVER has played 18 minutes without a foul). We weren't aggressive offensively...we were shy when we saw Edy sitting in the lane.

This game is not that! This is just bad officiating.

Larry Scirotto. This little shitlord sucks at his job and should be fired.

Only thing left now is the betting line
Yeah the line was -12, so that was a push, but holy f*** we had a potential "Bad Beats" situation on our hands with that last instant where they had Minnesota have to pass it in. Had they got a cheap basket, that would've maybe been the Bad Beat of the Month right there......

Worst officiating I've seen this year. 2nd was Iowa State vs W Virginia. Its officiating like this that makes adjusting really fast in the 1st game of the tournament so important. Can anybody imagine reffing like this in the tournament?

Refs like Scirotto, Greene, and Szelc live to make questionable calls against Iowa because they know its gonna set Fran off. And then they stare at him afterwards, begging him to give the slightest reason to T him up.

Meanwhile, when they do the same to Izzo, they stand right next to him while the ball is dead - other team shooting FTs - and let him cry & carry on about how their picking on his team, while just smiling and taking it like good little lap dogs.
