Refs didn’t decide the outcome but just like in the NCG two years ago, they made it impossible to come back. They played a huge roll in it for sure. I hate blaming the refs but this is blantantly bad

And learn how to dribbleIf Hannah doesn't develop a shot over the summer...
2-2500 per game during the season. NCAA tournament $4,000 per game. Pay that good and be terrible at it.She’s a joke. Wonder how much she makes. If it’s more than me I may as well go ref women’s basketball. I sure as 💩 couldn’t do worse than her
When you lose by 34 (and out-rebounded by 31) it's a bit ridiculous to blame it on the refs.Nah I am not crediting OU with all the ref help. We got out rebounded for sure but not sure ab the rest of it. When you dont call shit against OSU cmon
Dang, maybe we all ought to look into that. Someone has to save women’s basketball. Without Clark some of these games are unwatchable with these officials.2-2500 per game during the season. NCAA tournament $4,000 per game. Pay that good and be terrible at it.
Not a fan. Great defender but her offensive skills are bad. Can’t dribble and refuses to shoot unless wide open.At least Feuerbach seems to have found her 3-point shooting touch, and she will be back next season.
Agree. They play very similar styles and that big a gap is questionable.Refs didn't cost Iowa the game... But Hawks shot 7 FT to 27 for Oklahoma??
That 5 game drought in the early conference season was very hurtful. The solution is to get a better seed and be the home team to get the home whistle.
overly harsh. If Jan is playing Guyton any minutes at all next season, she has a real serious problem at guard.
There's a couple reasons beyond Iowa's control (not NIL), but too many on here will not want to hear it/disagree so it's not worth explaining to them. For the next 20 years we are all going to still be dumbfounded and trying to figure out how we failed to capitalize on the CC affect after she left.
They were better at every position except Lucy’s.Okay I’m out
Heading back to the pool
Outclassed today
Not to mention the number of times Beers has thrown Stuelke or Ava to the floor, with no call....How else do you shoot that shot? Hannah has to wear a strait jacket? Beers stuck her nose in there and got clobbered by a natural shooting movement. Tough shit. The call was pure BS. It was a play on, plain and simple.
Yes, we need a point guard and 6’2” forward who can score from all 3 levels. So about Iowa needing to look for help in the portal?
My issue is the refs, and then the announcers saying, "oh yea, that was intentional". BS. That was a basketball play, period. How many times this season, especially in the mens game have you seen someone get smacked in the head, and they reviewed it and called nothing?Oh come on, she got smacked pretty good. it’s incidental, and not intentional, but she did get hit
If they play like this. That’s the thing with OK, they can be erratic as well (though obviously a good, scrappy team). I hope they play UConn well and don’t fall apart like us…,I think they have a shot.
She certainly can. Maybe. She missed all her wide open looks.overly harsh.
She showed promise earlier in the season but has fallen off a cliff the last couple weeks.
She’s a freshman. She can improve
0 for 7 I believeShe seems more interested in generating her brand.
No reason to pick on her without mentioning everyone else.Say goodbye Guyton.
well I don’t watch the men lol. But I agree, 100% not intentionalMy issue is the refs, and then the announcers saying, "oh yea, that was intentional". BS. That was a basketball play, period. Little early to say that. She certainly can. Maybe. She missed all her wide open looks.
Probably won't be a real contributor at any point in her career.
Hannah had a pretty good second half.If Hannah doesn't develop a shot over the summer...
Sorry, but, 5'7" isn't going to cut it. Not even at guard in women's basketball.Little early to say that.
That was a horrible, putrid call but we weren’t going to win today.Reedy just said the turning point in the game was the intentional foul against Hannah. I would agree. She made a layup that put us down 9 and then they call her for an intentional foul.
None of us are blaming the officials for the loss as the girls looked out of sorts and didn’t play good like they have been. The officials gave the friendly whistles to Oklahoma though and they were a good enough team where there was no way we could crawl back out of that hole without fair calls.
Yes, except for the California teams the league would be a bust. Maryland down by 10 at start of 4th quarter.Rough day for the B1G.
No, but it would have been nice to have had a chanceThat was a horrible, putrid call but we weren’t going to win today.
She is quick and can shoot. She definitely has the ability to contribute on a significant level.Sorry, but, 5'7" isn't going to cut it. Not even at guard in women's basketball.
