yeah, the combination LB and JJ may be greater than either individual, but too early to tell about JJ.I miss Lisa

Thanks for postingAddie Deal's high school was rated #16 nationwide at the beginning of the season and now sits at #3. The only two teams rated above them now are the teams the Monarchs have their two losses. One of those teams is #1 Mitty, McKenna Woliczko's team.
"3. Mater Dei (CA) (16-2 – 3rd)
Mater Dei was rolling before losing 59-42 to Mitty [#1] in the Nike TOC semifinals, and it's done nothing but roll since. After beating Bullis 72-57 for third place, it's blown out Oakland Tech, Bishop Montgomery, Windward, and Corona Centennial."

Saw her earlier in the year vs SEP. You could tell she was a solid player. How good is this freshman Kelli Kalb that plays for Johnston? She scored like 31 points against Davenport North.
Right now, she benefits from the focus being on Jenkins and Lewis. But I agree, she's probably the next big recruit.Saw her earlier in the year vs SEP. You could tell she was a solid player.
I think she will be a pretty natural 3 after a year at Iowa. She stopped growing after being a post for years. Her sister was more of a guard from the time she was first playing. Journey had been a post. That’s the question. There is a pretty strong sentiment among people who have seen her play that she doesn’t really have a natural position at the college level, barring a huge improvement in shooting the ball.
Does not affect the best players much- look at Prince last night destroying iowaI hope she comes in and takes a leadership role alongside Guyton.
Gotta remember though the competition level is better at the college level.
May take a bit to adjust.
Last year there were over 375 senior girls in the country who were McDonald’s AA nominees. The year before, Kennise Johnson was one of seven players from her team to get nominated.Journey Houston is also a McDonald's All-American Nominee.
Was her team stacked with talent? 375 nominees averaged to about 7 per state. Certainly large population states would have more, but still, 7 on one team?Last year there were over 375 senior girls in the country who were McDonald’s AA nominees. She went to a basketball academy. But my point was sort of the opposite. In terms of identifying elite or even good college players, being a McDonald’s AA nominee means very little. It’s a PR game that coaches, administrators etc. play. Was her team stacked with talent? 375 nominees averaged to about 7 per state. Mmm.. they were good at setting screens for and her step back 3s were impossible to guard. AG was more affective stopping layupsPrince did not destroy Iowa last night when Guyton was guarding her.
Speaking of Kennise, at one time it was thought she might be ready to go at mid-season. Has anybody heard anything lately? Possible red-shirt?Last year there were over 375 senior girls in the country who were McDonald’s AA nominees. The year before, Kennise Johnson was one of seven players from her team to get nominated.
Seen her play several times. I don’t think she can shoot the outside shot. She is athletic but she is not an outside shooter, IMO. She would benefit from a fast game and using her athleticism to drive to the basket, but I look at the problems of this current team and don’t feel she does anything different.I would think that with Syd leaving and maybe/probably Kylie, Houston would be an option at guard or small forward? Maybe TP can help on this.
We need to focus our recruiting on the slashing type players. #1: It's easier to teach a slasher how to shoot a 3 than it is to take someone like McCabe and turn her into a shot creator. Watching CC's WNBA games revealed countless players who could drain 3's that were 6'3" athletic types...you know they didn't shoot many 3's in college.Seen her play several times. I believe worldexposurereport touched on this movement away from posts and/or bigs to guards. However, it's something to note. I've been watching this for a while. Coaches need to pay attention. Fast ball movement is key, imho.13 are guards. Seems like a lot
