Iowa is going to land players. Just keep playing team ball, beat some teams, and keep having fun. It will sort out.
I think she realized she wasn't going to play a lot with Guyton, Houston, Deal and Stremlow.I did months ago. I don't think we were in her final three. Definitely a talented player, good luck to her at Kentucky.

I do not, no.Do you have any info on a Harping visit?
C'mon man, Chad's a great Hawk, who let his daughter pick the school where she thought she best fit. I'd put you in the so-so Hawk category.Chad Greenway is dead to me 😎

I know that we can't get everyone that we recruit. I'm sure our coaches will all wish them well, but as a fan I do not.Whelp, hope she finds what's she's looking for. And so continues my disdain for UK athletics. I really don't like that program. I'd be fine with them never winning another title in basketball. I just really can't stand them and their unethical means that they've always utilized plus all the racism in their past history regarding MBB. Don't know much about their WBB program nor do I care to, especially now. Sucks she went there of all places.

Yes, as in big wing/PF. I think Heiden and Hays are a great minimum start. We always seem to lack the 6'2"ish type who can do it from all 3 areas of offense and defensive (eg a taller Kate Martin). I'm talking McKenna Woliczko types here.Saves a scholly for a big.
Yes and last I heard it's a Texas lean from my notes. Is Bjorn still undecided on her school choice?
It's hard to compete with the allure of playing in front of 4500 fans.Hopefully this will end all talk on her. I hope she graduates with honors, gets a great job after she graduates, has an injury free career and rides the bench for 4 years.
Kentucky just seems like an odd pick. And I’m guessing there are no direct flights from MSP for her parents…
She would have been an instant crowd favorite here. kind of amazing she didn’t factor that in. Oh well get ladies in here who want to be Hawks. Won’t be surprised one bit if she transfers in at some point in the near futureIt's hard to compete with the allure of playing in front of 4500 fans.
Exactly. Quite often its the truly special players that do NOT become coaches. See Michael Jordan. Their expectations of what other players should be able to do are often unrealistic, often based on what came easy for them as players.Great player doesn’t mean she would be a great coach, Who know’s. I can see coaching being in Kate Martins future, Not sure about C.C.
The recruits that decided to play elsewhere...I do not wish them well. They all have reasons to choose as they did, but ultimately they chose to be "not us". I hope that Washington girl and all that chose other Big Ten teams get to come to CHA and see what playing in a sold out arena looks like. I hope that the Kentucky , Duke and KState girls languish in the middle of their chosen conferences. Ultimately, I hope they have nice apartments from which they can watch Jan and team cutting down nets, knowing that they could have been a part of it.I wish her well. I still think being a hawk is in her blood and will be more surprised if she never portals her way to Iowa some day (even if for only a season) than if she does.
Ellie Muller, Woliczko, Byles, Koupal, Bjorn, Ragone and Jones have all visited on their own nickle. I think we have a shot at Muller, maybe Woliczko (it will be hard to pry her away from USC or UCLA though) and maybe Koupal. Bjorn and Byles both seem to be leaning to a Texas school. Haven't heard much about Jones for a year and don't know much about Ragone. I don't think we have a chance with Crittendon.Yes, as in big wing/PF. I think Heiden and Hays are a great minimum start. I was hoping Hannah Stuelke or Jada Gyamfi would fill this void. Hannah is missing the confident 3-pointer (or still trying to develop it). Jada seems like she fits it, but just hasn't put it all together yet to get meaningful minutes.
Our 2026 offer targets in this area:
McKenna Woliczko (6'2)
Amari Byles (6'2")
Ashlyn Koupal (6'2" - 6'3")
Addison Bjorn (6'2")
Bella Ragone (6'2")
Trinity Jones (6'2)
Brihanna Crittendon (6'2")
Our 2026 post offer targets:
Emilia Krstevski (6'5")
Olivia Vukosa (6'5") - this one is a long shot to get
1) UConn to lose I thinkListened to a podcast & she said 5 of 16 schools are in constant contact with her. Iowa not one of them.I got the feeling UConn was a front runner.2) Mimics the game of Breanna Stewart

Just a reminder to those who have quoted and responded to this. Make sure to check those sarcasm meter batteries every so often.Chad Greenway is dead to me 😎
Really, I hope she starts for Kentucky for 4 years, which means she's the best they can get, so that team won't amount to much of a threat to Iowa for national prominence.Hope she has an injury free career, gets a great job after she graduates,,and rides the bench for 4years.
Can you or anyone else verify that Ellie Muller has an offer from Iowa?Ellie Muller, Woliczko, Byles, Koupal, Bjorn, Ragone and Jones have all visited on their own nickle. Hoping that Lewis stays in-state and becomes a Hawk.

Why? I'm cheering for Iowa. Any less competition is good. I certainly don't wish her sit on the bench for 4 years, which would mean she's not good enough for Kentucky. You people are sour that I wish Greenway becomes a 4-year starter at Kentucky?Good grief. Get a life.
Doubling down on stupid is a bad look. Iowa wanted her. She wanted to go somewhere else. She would have been a multi year starter at Iowa. You actually know that, but are just too childish to take the L and move on.Why? I'm cheering for Iowa. Any less competition is good.
