Is Dreshaun Ross going to wrestle in college?

Nick Lee, AB and Kerk will most likely be around through ‘28. They aren’t going anywhere else to train, and who knows what non PSU athletes come in. Sanderson is committed to having the NLWC as the premier OTC. I don’t think that stops when Taylor, Dake and Snyder retire.
Well then send some of them to Iowa so we can win a national championship.

He reminds me of a bigger Ed Ruth. Would be a shame to have that elite talent in wrestling and never wrestle at all in college. Has anyone seen him play football? One thing that has always concerned me about him is his elderly woman level of thoracic spine kyphosis. Has he had this looked into by a spine specialist? I could see it causing problems down the road with heavy weight lifting and participating at high level football or wrestling.
Ross and Dillon Johnson out of IL are two of the most legit wrestlers in the country....it's a shame if we lose them to football. But, you go to college for a career, and only one sport really offers that, and it's football

If he wants to win World and Olympic medals he will definitely consider it. HWC has 1 guy currently in the mix and that's Lee. Hopefully the HWC can add some real contenders but they don't currently have them.
You know if you’re a stud, they will welcome you into their club. They brought Dake in when they already had a PSU stud at that weight. Brought a Hawkeye in. Brought a buckeye in. If Spencer can prove his knees are good enough to be a legitimate metal contender at world/olympic level they would go after him. You don’t have to go PSU under grad. If he wrestles it will probably be a Ben situation where he does both with football being the priority, and NFL his goal, not senior level wrestling.

Let's win national titles first.....then worry about life after college.

You don't have to go as an undergrad but they're because they want those guys as workout partners while in college. The club guys are extensions of the coaching staff. Kids go where they believe they can achieve their goals. And the numbers show if you're a top guy you will win a title there.

The numbers show that at Iowa as well.

How many top recruits have we had recently that haven’t won a title. Spencer certainly delivered, even with having messed up knees from day one. Kem, Warner marrinelli were good recruits, not sure about top recruits. I think Kennedy was top 6 pfp, not looking good for title, but he wouldn’t win one with PSU because he wouldn’t be a starter. Gabe and Angelo would be top recruits, probably Deluca also by the end of next year. We shall see with them.

Have DT, Dake, and Snyder said anything about how long they plan to compete? I could see DT and Snyder hanging it up after this cycle, but Dake seems to want to stick around, getting younger and all that. I would bet Gilman is done after this cycle as well.

i don't think any of them have said but i'd bet Gilman is done and probably DT.

Snyder is still well young. He'll be around for quite a while. Dake has like three - ish years or so before he moves back down to Roller events.
What’s a roller event?

Snyder has high mileage on him for his age. Wasn’t he competing internationally against full grown men and winning while still in high school.
