My no pic daughter lives in Houston. They are projected for 5-6.”of snow Tuesday into Wednesday. By comparison, where I live in NE Iowa we have had maybe 2” all winter. Fvcking weird man.
Son and no pic GF went up to my NW Wisconsin summer home to check things out. Plowed 5"-6" of snow off the driveway.
Minus 13 degrees this morning. Minus 14 tomorrow morning. Next month is guys weekend for ice fishing. Driving vehicles out on 15-20" of ice for sure.
Sounds like an awesome weekend. I have never gone ice fishing, but it sounds like a blast.
The highest point in Nebraska is 5424'. Higher than Denver.

Has the forecast changed for you? Weather Underground currently has it snowing from noon to 8pm here. 3-4" of accumulation.I want to believe, but I'm afraid we're going to just get ice:

My MSN weather on my computer is saying up to 7" of snow in the greater Jacksonville area is possible Tuesday night and Wednesday early AM.
All day on the ice. 2-1/2 days of Grilling Deer, Bear and whatever is brought for meat to cook.
Usually 5-6 guys and 8 to dusk fishing. I don't drink much anymore but others consume enough.
I remember a couple years back when I couldn't go after shoulder replacement surgery they used the house to stay in s the cabin they usually used was being replaced. I had beer cans lining the tops of my cupboards in the kitchen, 2 trash bags full of cans in the garage.
Wife was agas at it all. Son said they took home 4 bags of cans themselves. It's usually a good time. Lots of fish caught too.
That would be bad for Tallahassee. These evergreens and hardwoods still with dead leaves would trap that weight and start splitting trees.
At this point - I think it is on its way to being an historical storm with most snow fall accumulation and an ice storm.
Shifted a touch cooler, so more 'wintry mix'.
Showing we could get a sizeable amount of snow ~9PM.

It's cold. 28° with a wind chill around 20°. The snow is still around a 100 miles west of us moving east.
I'm 500 miles away from that part of Florida.
I think they closed I-10 and I-55 in NOLA this morning.
Prudent.
