No. I'm sure they rigged blades to the front of trucks.
Kind of silly. Not sure why they are trying to pretend like they have the equipment and manpower and experience for this.
Can't look weak and unprepared. I guess it's better to give impression that hundreds of thousands of dollars were wasted for one historic storm.
Tallahassee is supposed to start seeing precipitation around 5 PM.
We just had a little freezing rain/sleet come buy my house. The snow is supposed to arrive here around 1pm.

-14 when I got into the hot tub this morning. Wind chill likely -20s. Went to the U of I sports Clinic for PT and they had no heat, all the employees and staff were in down coats. Whole north side of the building is windows so it was quite cold inside especially the waiting area…

My nephew hopped on Steam within the hour, so I imagine they've taken the day off for the weather.

It's started here but more icy than flakes. Bigger flakes are falling at our daughter's house about 7 miles away.

The highest point in Notth Carolina, and the Eastern US is Mt. Mitchell at 6,648. No pick daughter and I walked up and back down one day.

Yeah one of my best friends from college days lives in P-cola; he posted some pics & video of his snow-covered lemon tree. An hour ago they'd had about 3 inches & it was coming down harder than it was earlier in the afternoon
We got about 1/4" of sleet, now we are probably at 2-3" of snow. It's supposed to snow about 4 more hours.
