Is Iowa ranked tomorrow?

Going to be interesting to see how this plays out......a win over Wisconsin next week, and now Penn State and Ohio St saddled with 2nd losses, does the Big Ten get locked out of the CFP?

Nope. Now tOSU was a faker will be the commentary

How many times did Brian Griese mention the emotional win vs Penn State during this game? I'm going to guess at least 30 times.

There's your narrative. After all, no other Top 10 teams in college football ever have emotional games the week before.

Stanley should be the punter

I remember thinking this, too.

I don't know if Iowa will be ranked, because it won't matter with Wisconsin coming up.

I don't like the idea of the B1G not having any teams in the CFP, but wouldn't it be awesome if Iowa knocked two contenders out in consecutive weeks?

the early narrative on post game shows has several saying all credit to Iowa. So far its been a different reaction than I expected. It's hard to ignore 55 points.

Not the same Stanford, we didn't show up either wiseass.
Kind of like OSU today. I'm not so naive to think we are really better than OSU. We came to play, they walked into a hornets nest. It happens.
Just like us in the Rose Bowl.

KF was just buttering up Urban Meyer during the pregame. Just lul him to think he'd be here for an easy win. Then we punched him in the mouth the whole night.

We win by 31 and you don’t think we are better? That’s insane. We lost each of our games so barely that a single play would have changed the outcome. Those are the games that you can say maybe the better team lost. You hang 55 and win by 31, sorry that proves something.

My post had nothing to do with Stanford talent or Stanford beating us in the Rose bowl. They lost today to Wash St which isn't a bad loss. Didn't see any other obvious losses by teams near the bottom of the top 25. Overreact much?

It should be.

Iowa kicked OSU's ass today. This wasn't a run the ball, chew up clock, play sound defense, and kick a late FG to win 12-10 to squeak out a win type of victory.

Iowa looked like they were the best team in college football today.

lots of football still to play....
sec getting both teams of their championship game would be a total joke and completely unfair to the winner(although I could see it happening)

Has anyone slid over to the Ohio State board yet? Just curious since once we beat Wisconsin next week we will have shut the BIG out of the playoffs this year lol!!!

I think Auburn upsets Georgia next week and Alabama beats them in the SEC title game. I'm rooting for Georgia in both those games but that's how I see it. Bama-Clemson-Washington and the TCU-Oklahoma winner are my picks.

putting in a team that can't beat isu is even worse :D

Just curious as to when you predict N.D. to lose, because they won't be left out if they win out.

If they win out, you are correct...they won't be left out. I think they will lose 1 more. If Virginia Tech beats Miami...I will pick Miami if not Stanford. With 2 road games late..I think they will screw the pooch in one.

I’d say that is probably a bit premature.

I don't see Wisconsin making the CFP, even if they were to go undefeated.

Whomever they play in the BCG will have a minimum of 2 losses. That would be their signature win of the year and not good enough.

With Ohio State and Penn State losing today, the B1G will not be represented in the CFP.

While I agree there is no certainty they would get in if undefeated, there’s still a lot of football left.

No way a 13-0 P5 conference champ is left out. Never ever.

This might be the year.

I think Oklahoma will win out. They're in. I think Clemson wins out. They're in. Notre Dame likely wins out (Miami is another fake id) and they're in. I haven't even mentioned Georgia or Alabama yet.

I think you'll see #1 Alabama vs #4 Oklahoma and #2 Clemson vs #3 Notre Dame. It's possible Georgia could still get in after losing the SEC championship game vs. Alabama (assuming they beat Auburn next week).

Regardless, there's 5 teams right there I would put in front of an undefeated Wisconsin team for 4 playoff spots. It's also worth mentioning an undefeated Miami team (even though it's very unlikely to happen) would go ahead of Wisconsin, and perhaps if TCU managed to win out they would even go before Wisconsin.

I think the schedule really works against Wisconsin. Their schedule is worse than Iowa's in 2015. Way worse. It's the schedule that keeps them out.
