That Fran is better than what we had, but people are SEVERELY overrating him....he is the WORST in any tourney outside of Iowa. I'd research his tourney record, but I'm just too lazy.

Ooops sorry, shouldn't have started another thread....but I did just read that he has only 2 tourney wins. Can that be right? In 8 years? Yikes....that alone would get you fired at a school with a real Basketball Program....which we once had BTW. Anyone remember it?

I actually could care less about his record in November tournaments. Need a good January - March. We'll see.

You should. When you are Iowa, losses like that look TERRIBLE to the selection committee come April. Iowa needs every win they can, just squeak in.
