I’ll be listening to his channel on Sirius for a few weeks. Loved his music. I was hoping to get to see one more concert.
I've had many a good time that was enhanced by his music. I don't go to a lot of large music events but I did go to a Jimmy Buffet concert. It was by far the most fun I ever had at one.

The only place I would sing out loud are in my shower and with a few thousand friends at a Buffet concert. We all knew the words.

Like hockey, soccer and country music, I gave Jimmy Buffet music a few tries, wanting to like it because it felt like everyone else did. Just never did it for me, but I respected him as an entertainer who seemed to make a lot of people happy. RIP

Another cool JB story: In the flood of 2010, a popular wedding venue near my home flooded, and the entire wedding party had to be evacuated through my neighborhood. The bride and groom spent the night at a hotel in Nashville, and wound up hanging out at the bar with Jimmy Buffet all night.
