It's pretty easy to see the dems are trying to put a bunch of Ukraine pork into a bill they desperately need. Still no exit plan for Ukraine.
Ever think that's cuz they know getting ANYTHING thru the narrowly-controlled GOP House in an election year will be difficult as hell? So trying to do multiple difficult things is really not a smart move.

Mike Johnson could call a vote on any one of those at any time. The Republicans aren't passing *any* of that before November. Biden would benefit by having something to sign, and the claim that government is non-functional is something the GOP has been successfully running on for 40 years.

It has been posted here many times in the past but the people who get their "news" from Fox and like outlets insist on ignoring it - close to a majority of people who are here illegally did not come across the southern border. They came here legally, through the existing visa process and over-stayed their visas.

Understand...and MTG issued her “challenge” last night...MAGA won’t allow it...and MTG will have Johnson removed from his Speakership if he supports it. Johnson, the courageous politician he is, wants to keep his Speaker position and will do all he can to shit-can this bill. Again...Congress is being stalled and deflated by 12-20 House Republican Congressmen. Meanwhile, Republicans will continue to point the finger at Dems and the American people will not be served by their elected representatives.

Not sure what your point is,.. Visa's need to be policed as well, nobody would argue otherwise.
This bill shouldn't be an attempt to provide a total and complete fix to immigration, problem is too complicated,.. This bill needs to quickly address the immediate issue, then we can move on from there...
