All of Iowa's matches have been on Mat 2 so if you want to go to the mat in track and rewind it all the way back to catch up, you can. Don't know how that Ohio team ended up getting Iowa first match because they have some legit guys on that team. But Iowa has hammer after hammer.

I really hope all the Iowa recruits on this jr duals team are talking to Hunter Garvin. He’s an absolute monster. He’s nifty on his feet and a menace to take down. He’d be a great flip if there’s any interest there at all.

He has developed some solid leg attacks which I felt was the only thing missing from his arsenal. He went from being really good in the state to a stud nationally. Hell of an athlete.

I could not agree more! He’s gonna be a beast on the next level. He’s got a little unorthodox to his style as well, which makes him a fun watch. I’ll be rooting for him at Stanford if we can’t swing him to the good side.

Iowa will wrestle once the true 2nd matches are concluded, which will determine who Iowa wrestles first round of the Gold/Silver bracket.

Can anyone tell me anything about Kade Blume? He was impressive today. He looks like another Sebolt kid. Nice single leg, solid hand fighting, he’s pretty good positionally. How old is he?

He's going to be a junior...so far, two state titles. He is damn good. Glad he is freestyling and hope he puts on some size. Looks a lot like Nate out there.

Thanks you for the info. I hadn’t seen him or Dru wrestle before today. Hopefully Kade can put on some weight, I like where he’s at right now skills wise. Dru looks exactly like his brother….the sweep single…the hair. You can tell they are related and trained by the same people.

Great showing by Iowa today. I continue to hope that Ben chooses wrestling to be his primary focus while in college but he’s so damn athletic it’s going to be hard to keep him off the field.

I’d like to think there will be one before Kueter since he isn’t even a HS senior yet. Also, more likely he ends up at DE.
My thoughts also- that we hopefully have another one before him and if he does stick with football he ends up like Matt Roth who started out at lber and moved to de to just chase down qb's and wreak havoc.
