What "wasteful spending" has been cut?

I have yet to see a single, reviewed audit.

I have seen DOGE fire a whole bunch of DOE employees necessary to maintain our nuclear stockpiles, only to try to hire them back (but not have any contact info to do so) a day or so later.

And the same DOGE fire a whole bunch of NIH folks who track H5N1 bird flu, only to now try to hire them back, too.

That would seem to be gross incompetence, and a colossal waste of govt resources to fire/re-hire, lather, rinse, repeat.
Why you'd cheer on that kind of incompetence says quite a lot about your own.

It will be interesting to analyze the data if it is released.
The Age Range Count data lacks meaningful context unless it is directly correlated with actual payments. Additionally, the figures presented in the graph exceed the total population of this country and significantly surpass the number of individuals who received SSA/SSI checks in 2024.

While there is certainly room for improving the efficiency of the SSA, releasing a graph without corresponding data and implying an issue exists is not particularly impactful.

If you want actual insight of the Social Security go onto YouTube and check out Dr Ed. Semi Retired and ran the 3rd largest Social security office in the nation.
He explains the the Social security administration does not have the authority to close out social security numbers without a death certificate. These people are on file but do not receive SS.
