I did not watch the debate but have read multiple accounts from varying sources and they don't agree with you. Most said points were made by each with neither having a strong advantage. The biggest takeaway was that they were cordial to each other. Often agreeing.
But, I bet you think Trump won the debate with Harris 107-5.
The debate was a pre-2016 debate.

Now why does this country vilify people who made something of themselves by taking advantage of the opportunities this country provides.
We use to have heroes, now we criticize people that were able to acquire significant
wealth. We want to raise their taxes and make it more difficult to pass on assets to their descendants.
The rich, the middle class, and the poor will all have to pay more taxes to slow down the debt from continuing to go up. I really believe we are past the point of no return.
Not only that, people will get less for those taxes.
The majority will be going to pay interest on bonds, and only the rich will be able to loan the money to get that interest. However, what do I know.
Yep. Sooner or later austerity measures are in our future.

If we returned to Clinton era levels of federal spending (% of GDP), we'd have a balanced budget.
