Kenyon Murray's Line up to Consider: Joe, Kris, PMac, Keegan, Filip. He Replies "Why Not?" when asked about CMac & JBo coming off the Bench

Every year this forum has numerous starting line up threads; it's a popular topic.

It's a popular topic on Twitter, too. Rick Webster clearly tweeted his starting line up. Then Kenyon replied with his line up.

And if you are coming off the bench, that would mean you are not in the starting 5, correct? Well, as you can see in the orig post, someone IMMEDIATELY wrote this after Kenyon posted his line up: No jbo? I mean I like your line up but Connor and jbo coming off bench, Fran won’t have that will he?

And Kenyon's reply? Why not?

So, he posts a line up, someone asks about it, and his next reply WAS talking about the starting line up where he made it clear he was fine with JBo and Connor not starting.

So, you can see why everyone in that thread thought they were all still talking starting line ups.

As you stated, Kenyon had to later explain it was simply a "line up" and not his starting line up.

Meanwhile, as you can see below, everyone else replied as if they were still talking STARTING line ups. Rick, who started the topic, even wrote that he wasn’t sure if you put 3 guys with similar skill sets in your starting lineup.

Stop trying to stir up trouble where there is none.

So you got nothing? Is that what you are saying? Doubling down on being wrong is funny. Poor Fran.

You do know you're making this worse, right? Let it die! Kenyon made a statement on twitter that he didn't realize how it would be used/interpreted. He has tried to calm the situation down by making a statement. That's what was needed. You continuously posting about this and trying to blame franisdaman does nothing to help the situation. Let it die.

I think now is the time to just agree to disagree (and I hate that saying). Franisdaman isn't wrong for his (and others) interpretation. It does read that way. The problem is people used Kenyon's post to mean something other than what Kenyon meant (whatever he meant). People need to stop using Kenyon's post to promote their stupid views. Kenyon wasn't saying CM shouldn't play, but that's what some posters read. Kenyon wasn't saying CJ left because of CM or playing time, but some posters thought so. Kenyon wasn't send Fran a message (play my kids), but some posters came to that conclusion.

If we want Kenyon to post on this board (or any board) people need to stop treating Kenyon as the all knowing and really treat him as what we all are, a fan with an opinion. It's not right, it's not wrong. If we can't treat Kenyon as one of the guys/gals, then we're going to lose him. I prefer Kenyon post and I don't care if he gives his dream team. That's great. We may agree or disagree but we shouldn't use his post to promote negative things.

Great post.

And thank you.

He's the one calling me the lying, so I lol at that.

My allegiance aside, does anyone really think Fran is gonna bench his own son, and a proven starter (who holds two two Iowa records)? Yes, they both have limitations, but if Touissant, Perkins, or Uhlis were better - they would've gotten more PT. This could get very interesting, if not ugly, for Fran. He isnt exactly famous for putting the best players on the floor (that's not my observation, its what I've read here on HR), and is loyal to a fault.
First off, Fran just stated Joe T was gonna start. Keegan is gonna start. If Weezy comes back, he's gonna start, if he doesn't Pat is. That leaves the 2 and 5 positions open. Connor is coming off the bench, unless something crazy happens. Jbo may start at the 2, but Perkins is gonna split that time at minimum. I don't see how Rebraca or Kris aren't the other starter in the post. Whether it's at the 5, or push Keegan to the 5.

There is a chance that Mulvey could be at the 5, a chance. But I think it's pretty safe to say the Rebraca will be in the starting 5. I think the only position up for grabs is the 2 spot.

Ironic. You are the definition of moron.

Stop lying on this board. And stop lying to yourself. Just accept the fact that you are a moron.

Rick Webster tweeted out his starting line up.

As you can see, Kenyon Murray gave us a line up to consider:
Joe T
Kris Murray
PMac
Keegan
Filip

And note this interaction at the end when it came to the starting line up:

Fan:
No jbo? I mean I like your line up but Connor and jbo coming off bench, Fran won’t have that will he?

Kenyon: Why not?

.

That's my lineup! Keynon stole it from me! ;)

Seriously tho, not a bad lineup at all. We know KeM can play. Some of us also know that KrM can play.... And he is right that they grew up playing as swing players, more on the guard side.

I see this lineup getting the most minutes together. Whether they start or not, does not really matter... I just do not want to see JBo and CMac on the floor to start, or on the floor together...at all.

OK, I suppose I could see JBo and CMac together, with KeM, FR & KrM.

Think of the defense Kris would bring along side Keegan. And I just want to see 2 Murrays out there rebounding the damn ball. ;)

And Kris out there with quick feet & blocking shots is not something that JBo brings to the table.

Does Mulvey need to put on some weight first for significant minutes?

It's hard to say without seeing him play against college level kids. He has the height so there's a chance. But I fully expect Rebraca to be the starter. I think it's pretty much a given the JT, KeM, PM, and Rebraca are in the starting 5. Who the last person will be, I don't know but if I had to bet it would be JBo.

As far as CM goes, with him having hip surgery that helps Fran because Connor will have missed a lot of practice time and won't be ready for the start of the season. I think the Mc family is competitive enough that Connor coming off the bench won't be a problem.

Its too bad in that starting line up Twitter thread that when he posted his line up he was not clear that it was only a line up and not "the" starting line up.

Because lets face it, THE starting line up was all that people were discussing, INCLUDING Kenyon, when he said he was fine with JBo and Connor not being part of THE starting line up.

And speaking of being full of crap, try not to be so outraged over this and take a laxative or something.

Eat a Snickers, Fran.
