Someone in lounge said he was in class. Don’t think he is with team
Update - KF called it a leave of absence right now. Says Kyshaun will rejoin the team after the bye week and they'll see if he's ready to practice at that point.
Ah, the kiss of death. Brandon asking about a players status.has it been confirmed yet that he left the team. or is he still on campus.
That makes it sound like he skipped camp or wasn’t 100% into right before camp started and they asked him not to showQ. Kyshaun Bryan, is he ready to go?
KIRK FERENTZ: He's taking a leave right now, so we're going to bring him back at bye week and kind of circle back, see where he's at, and see if he's more prepared to practice.

there is the answer, whatever it means![]()
If that is the true (no clue if it is), he ought to go home or pay for his college expenses. That makes it sound like he skipped camp or wasn’t 100% into right before camp started and they asked him not to show
Either that or his injuries are still nagging him. And he wasn’t ready to go..If that is the true (no clue if it is), he ought to go home or pay for his college expenses.
I hope so. You can come back from injuries. Hard to come back if you just don't care though.Either that or his injuries are still nagging him. And he wasn’t ready to go..
That's interesting. Seems a bit out of the norm.

So we aren't screwed if he just decides he doesn't want to play? That's good!He is attending classes so A) he is paying his own way and wants to be here, or B) he is on scholarship and Kirk wants him to be here. I'm cool either way.

Blair just posted that it's not injury related. I'm wondering if there was a family/personal problem over the summer or maybe depression from his injury difficulty.
Wow. Thanks for the update. Thats really hard to believe that a kid with this kind of opportunity, at a school that puts emphasis on the run, and can definetly prepare you for the league, just doesn't put forth the effort. It happens I guess, but its still a little hard to fathom.....Nothing like that. Basically just not putting in the work that's expected of a Division I college football player. He won't be at Iowa much longer unless he does a 180.
