Yep, you assault a cop, expect the consequences.Did the guy spit at the cop?
Well... It's rude and inappropriate, but what the cop did in retaliation was much worse.Yep, you assault a cop, expect the consequences.
Yep, you assault a cop, expect the consequences.
So throw another charge at him. He was already restrained and was of no danger to that officer.Yep, you assault a cop, expect the consequences.
Yep, charge the perp with battery on an leo, and charge the leo with battery as well.So throw another charge at him. He was already restrained and was of no danger to that officer.
Unfortunately that culture exists in many police departments. I'm not defending it just pointing it out.
If you assault someone who's restrained, should you also expect the consequences?Yep, you assault a cop, expect the consequences.
^this. This ones easy... Fire him. Gotta clean out these bad apples. That's how you clean up the police force. Not defunding them.... just holding them accountable for blatant bad actions. He Gone.
The bigger problem is teaching kids respect imo. Yes, is the cop wrong...of course. But you have to know that if you disrespect someone to that level, you better expect a reaction.
The cop is wrong. Hard stop. The bigger problem is teaching kids respect imo. Yes, is the cop wrong...of course. But you have to know that if you disrespect someone to that level, you better expect a reaction.
The kid was completely restrained, and the cop wasn't even in the picture until he came up and punched the kid. You can rationalize all you want, but it doesn't matter. The cop committed aggravated battery.Nobody was there, we have know idea what led up to this. The kid was obviously doing something he shouldn't have or why have all the officers there?
These officers are way overworked right now. Not to mention being disrespected all the time. We used to look up to the police and now they get spit on and objects thrown at them.
Who knows, kid probably deserved it.
I said that. The bigger issue thought is the erosion of the nuclear family. If you want to fix these things, start there. The cop is wrong. Hard stop.
The cop was out of line but the perp should’ve expected to get whacked somehow.Yep, you assault a cop, expect the consequences.
I’d like to fix what’s right in front of my face. I don’t want to have to wait to discipline bad cops until we fix the nuclear family.I said that. The bigger issue thought is the erosion of the nuclear family. If you want to fix these things, start there.

Really? He should have expected that? The cop was out of line but the perp should’ve expected to get whacked somehow.
WTF is wrong with you?Weird you spit on someone and get punched.
Really? He should have expected that?
Respect is earned. I don't think the guy in the stretcher was randomly calling the cop a bitch. I'm guessing the guy had already hit him or done something physically harmful to the guy. He wasn't addressing any of the other officers just the guy who sucker punched him.The bigger problem is teaching kids respect imo. Yes, is the cop wrong...of course. But you have to know that if you disrespect someone to that level, you better expect a reaction.
If the problem is going to be fixed, all those cops probably need to be fired. They are all part of the problem.
It's amazing you lasted this long. Congrats.Well....yeah. I grew up with the thought that if you talked like that to someone, you better be ready to go.
Fire all of them? For what?
