If Stickley isn't going 125 this year then I see no reason for him not to RS and be the guy at 133 next year.I actually think we see Stickley go here. I got a feeling he's more aggressive then Laux. TnT style.

I think he said it was possible. I also would prefer him here and think he would be a better option. Almost positive he will RS this year. I feel we are ok with Turk and Happel at 41. So if Stickley, Murin, & Glynn wanna battle it out for 133 once Lee takes over 125 I'm all for it.Isn't Murin 33? I'm higher on Max
Laux looks big now. I thought he was a 41 pounder. I think he stays as strong as anyone at 33 and AAsLaux got overpowered a lot last year. He was often in deep but ended up getting taken down. If he can fix that issue he has a shot at the stand.
I call them like I see them. You won't find a bigger fan of Laux or Iowa. In this case, I am happy to be wrong.Of all the boards to doubt a 33lber from Iowa doesn't have a legit shot to AA, id never guess it'd be this this one.
33 is legit stacked this year no doubt, but no place in the world will have better partners or coaching to take him to the next level. If Laux is all in, his ceiling is very very high
Laux hasn't shown the career progression to lead one to believe that he will suddenly make huge strides as a fifth-year senior. The slow-build model occasionally works, but generally speaking, unless you're an AA/NC threat as a RSF, you're unlikely to make that leap late in your career. Happy to be wrong with Laux, but if you want to be disappointed, keep expecting fifth-year seniors to suddenly "buy in" and "surprise some people." The AA ranks are replenished every year with superstar freshmen, not seniors who weren't ranked in the top 20 the previous year.I call them like I see them. I'm sorry I've been so negative lately (i.e. past 6 years). Just keep in mind that when I go negative and Spooner responds negatively to my negativity, I am actually forcing him to be positive, which has been my plan all along. There you go again...crushing dreams with your sound logic
