No. You can't stop people from killing each other. If you really wanted to help it, you should push your party to stop it's assault on the common man in favor of the corporations. Desperate people do desperate things. Give people a reason to flourish and they'll flourish. Beat them down until they lose hope, and they'll lash out at what they perceive as the reason for their misery.

Justifiable homicide by citizens as well as police are included in the 33,000 numbers as are the 22,000 suicides. So yes those include legal gun deaths.

@Huey, the FBI shows that there were 8124 firearm murders in 2014. That's a far cry from the 33k you're trying to push here.
