The question now, is: how do you 'fix' the people who have been bamboozled, and get them back to rational thinking again?
I have been going thru this personally lately. Not politically but in trying to eat healthy. It seems pretty much everything in life we have been taught is completely upside down. In the few months of research starting around late 70’s the food corps and government went all in on ignoring any science but what they were promoting. To get to your point, In my case above I am willing to change my perception and learn anew. Unfortunately from watching people the great portion are not willing to take that step. I think the only hope is a “revolution” of some sort that shocks the youngsters into climactic change. I thought 9/11 would have brought this on but it fizzled and did not materially change attitudes. Maybe covid and the government ineptness can do what 9/11 did not do.
