Brands wins 4-1 SV-1. LOL.Kennedy wins the match by bonus, if it's brands he wins by one.
If ayala loses to a frost that's apparently been dealing with issues this year, I say we start talking about descending him back down to 125

They need to get either Swid or Ech back down to 141 and it works OK. Next year:Outside of this dual, it will be interesting next year and beyond to see how the Clone lineup shakes out in the future.
They have a decent, relatively young group but so many have already used the redhirt and there are logjams all over the place, which hints that they're not planning very well, recruiting wise.
That would certainly confirm rumored problems with guys not being happy by being urged/forced to cut a lot of weight.
The portal out could be an issue this spring.
It is not like he is coming off of an injury like last year against ISU. I think we should roll him out there and pick up the bonus points.I'm with you on that. If it weren't for it being PK's first match of the season, I would go with him for a much better chance at bonus.
Carroll has tried the heavyweight deal and it does not work out well for him. They will have Carroll at 197 and then have Hererra or Sawyer Bartelt at 285. 184 is probably going to be a hole that ISU looks to plug with a portal guy. Bartelt wrestling 215 in high school so I do not think 184 is in the cards for him to Dresser has guys pulling some serious weight so maybe...They need to get either Swid or Ech back down to 141 and it works OK. Next year:
125: Castillo
133: Frost
141: Swid/Ech
149: Ech/Swid
157: Paniro
165: Chittum
174: Gaitan
184/197: Question?
HWT: Carroll
They need to address 184 and 197, but otherwise, the lineup look pretty good. Again, though, it depends on Swid and Ech taking 141/149.
Pollard don’t give a shit bout wrestling, grew up in Ames, talked to him personally. So any kinda success is a plus. Let dresser and the goon squad keep blowing it.I think he is more worried about finding the clock that shows riding time during a match.
Cause obviously putting the asst. coaches in charge of that didn't work.
But hey...he got a contract extension!
Kinda shows shows just how low the bar has been set.

Naaks will be lifetime room guys.Teemer majors a less than 100% Johnson and techs or pins Naak.
The frosts transferred to Iowa for their senior year of high school, from Louisiana. So not sure this is the caseAyala beats frost in a battle of sebolts top dawgs. Assuming they have scrapped a lot in the room in HS
They were in Sebolts room the summer before SR year and until they left for Ames. They definitely trained togetherThe frosts transferred to Iowa for their senior year of high school, from Louisiana. So not sure this is the case
No Brands, no Cass, no Assad…Dresser definitely deserved an extension. Your hate sometimes blinds you. They beat Iowa at NCAA last year .
Word is some recruits/transfers and families are quite upset about being sold one thing on the program, then realizing it was lie with all the drunken escapades from the athletes and staff going unchecked by the HC, stolen and totaled vehicles, poaching, the demands of weight cuts, injuries, and lack of any decent medical training/nutritionists.
That reads like some paid Iowa State haters stuff right there. Is there a Cyclone board you can post it too as a Mineo tweet?
Wait til you hear KDs presser saying Iowa played within the rules all the while he wasn’t. Goofball is the biggest snake in the game and is seething with envy….
He’s been completely exposed. The only leg he has left with recruits and transfers is “hey you hate Iowa and Brands?!? Yeah?! We do too! Please come help us beat them!”
Absolute clown.

There's a reason he's so heavily invested in the Cuban wrestlers.Wait til you hear KDs presser saying Iowa played within the rules all the while he wasn’t. Goofball is the biggest snake in the game and is seething with envy….

I heard on Stalemates some reference to Terukina's traffic troubles, but that is it. Zach is a big Iowa State fan, so he probably wants to stay away from negative Cyclone tea. Might've been Hager busting his balls on the podcast. It's not a well kept secret.

But does/ will this pitch actually work to his advantage?Wait til you hear KDs presser saying Iowa played within the rules all the while he wasn’t. Goofball is the biggest snake in the game and is seething with envy….
