They need to get either Swid or Ech back down to 141 and it works OK. Next year:

141: Swid/Ech
149: Ech/Swid
157: Paniro

174: Gaitan
184/197: Question?
HWT: Carroll
They need to address 184 and 197, but otherwise, the lineup look pretty good. Again, though, it depends on Swid and Ech taking 141/149.
It is not like he is coming off of an injury like last year against ISU. I think we should roll him out there and pick up the bonus points.
Carroll has tried the heavyweight deal and it does not work out well for him. They will have Carroll at 197 and then have Hererra or Sawyer Bartelt at 285. 184 is probably going to be a hole that ISU looks to plug with a portal guy. Bartelt wrestling 215 in high school so I do not think 184 is in the cards for him to Dresser has guys pulling some serious weight so maybe...

I believe the prevailing thought is that it will be difficult for Carroll to hold 197 for very many more seasons.
parco echemendia are too similar on the feet. parco wins on riding time or toss up with who can score a takedown. will be a snoozer of a match
The frosts transferred to Iowa for their senior year of high school, from Louisiana. So not sure this is the case
They were in Sebolts room the summer before SR year and until they left for Ames. They definitely trained together

I heard on Stalemates some reference to Terukina's traffic troubles, but that is it. Zach is a big Iowa State fan, so he probably wants to stay away from negative Cyclone tea. Might've been Hager busting his balls on the podcast.
Terukina also had issues with his court appearances/probation, etc.
As I said before, Ames PD and Story County deputies knows some of these wrestlers.

it's amazing, you don't think you could love anyone the way you do when that baby comes out. I remember almost punching the doctor because I thought he slapped my daughter too hard. I was PISSED.
I do agree it seems so transactional, which I don’t particularly like, but those are the rules. And if Dresser had the opportunity to pick up Teemer, Parco, and Buchanan this past offseason, you know he would have done it too. He wouldn’t have been doing his job if he didn’t.
Also, when you hear Teemer talk about his experience at Iowa so far, I get the feeling he’s not just pleased with the bag he received. So we know it’s not just about the money.
Teemer seems to be having a blast. He even had Terry doing the bird hand sign after his pin at bellarmine.

The staff really needs to do a better job combatting the public narrative about the program. One of the consistent lines we hear from these late career transfers is how different it is from what they expected.

He has multiple guys on his roster that he picked up due to the portal/NIL. He would kill to have the ability to do more there.

I'm not a Dresser fan at all but I didn't take much from his answer about the portal and money. It was just truth. He even said if the bag guy is in your backyard it's great.
