Yes, she seems almost as frustrated as McCarthy. She made a play mid-year 2022 and started changing the approach a little ( crazy from 10 to 7ish) and was getting invited into high levels with meetings with Mccarthy. I am sure it was for a chair on a nice committee in exchange for her crazies, and fealty, now her buddy Gaetz and LB are screwing her, couldn't happen to a nicer gal

I think it’s possible that in this period following 1/6/21, many traditional conservatives that are willing to take part in these polls are not willing to identify as republicans. As a result, the crazies end up making a greater percentage of the voters identifying themselves as republicans in these polls.Thats a fair counter point. I think McCarthy and crew felt they had it all under control even after that. Now, they are seeing maybe not so much....
