It'll be okay. You disagree, that's fine, but no reason to be a mouth-breather. I watched the video several times before I responded, so no, I am not blind. I have played and watched thousands of hours of football in my life, so I think I have a damn good grasp of what is and what is not normally called throughout a game. Josey was pushed from the front/side, not from behind. Because the blocker engaged, he had to slip off the block and simultaneously reach out for Scott, which at one point, he had his lead arm around. His trailing arm was momentarily hooked by the lineman (the only contact the lineman had until after Josey fell to the ground), something that happens on the majority of run plays. Because of that, he had to dive for Scott, making it look like a hard tackle after he collided with Niemann. Could you call that a hold? You sure could (although there would be a lot more people PO'd about that than a no call), but to call it blatant, horrible no-call is downright laughable.
Also, the whole argument is moot if five guys don't miss the tackle.
I'm not one for excuses, but the Michigan State lineman literally grabbed ahold of Jewell's arm and dragged him to the ground. Jewell only had one arm available to make a play on the ball carrier. It was a pretty blatant hold, and that gets called the vast majority of the time (7-8 times out of 10).
