going to be a tough one - with MD scrambling QB - need to sack him a lot!!! Iowa offense should be ok - if CJ can scramble enough as well. Iowa 28 - 21
Maryland has some talent/speed at running back and receiver. This game is very tricky...
Perry Hills is going to get hit and hit hard. He has to run the ball because he has absolutely zero arm strength. Iowa won't give them 3 turnovers like Penn State did and the game won't be close.

Perry Hills and Ross are the offense. So much has been made of their offense but they have run for less and passed for less than Iowa. Perry did not play in games 3,4 and 5 and had good games running against OSU and PSU but he does throw the ball to the defense. Year to date 6 tds and 7 ints....5 of the ints coming in the past two games against better competition. His career totals pretty much mirror that as well. As 1stplacehawk suggests......hit him and hit him hard. Make him think and feel it! Until somebody proves different I have faith in our defense against the run and with two weeks to prepare for Maryland and Indiana, I have even more faith the boys will be ready. Would be nice to see Desmond get in on the interception party again this weekend!
Penn State is ranked 58th in rush defense and Ohio State is 54th. That is why they were able to put up some rushing yards the last couple of weeks. Against Michigan whose rush D is good they couldn't do anything. That's why I think Iowa wins this one. They stop the run and force Maryland to try and pass and Maryland is one of the worst ranked passing teams in the country.
I think Iowa shows a little rust with a bad turn over and missed FG but shakes it off to win 24 17.
Maryland is Northwestern without the defense. And we're at home, and ticked about last year, etc etc. Bottom line, Iowa is good, especially on defense.

My prediciton is CJ is back feeling a lot better and with Akrum Wadley being able to energize our offense, we're going to roll. Wadley will have a fantastic game with well over 100 yards and CJ will also play well. Our stout defense will continue to be one of the nation's best as they don't allow Maryland to score until the fourth quarter with back-ups in for crap points.

The twerps got a bunch of pressure on Penn State qb and they have athletes. PSU always has linebackers and they were in chase mode much of the game.
The key as always is to be the most physical team. MD can be sloppy and we must win the turnover battle. Iowa 35-31. I just don't see Vegas missing the ultimate outcome given the line.

First time ever, Maryland comes to Kinnick. The pink locker room will be a shock to their system. I'm sure Locksey has mentioned to them, but seeing is believing. Locker Room 17 Maryland 0. Twerps QB trash talk about our defense, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes! Remember an Illannoy player was talking trash before the game, and they had to unscrew his helmet off before they sewed his nose back in place. He'll be out of the game by second quarter after the D deals out the pain.
