I guess this is what happens when your coach is an old grandpa and you’re worried about the younger generation. Don’t worry, Campbell will kick Kirks a$$ into retirement just like Mac did to Fry.
Yes, we are worried about the younger generation. They are mostly incapable of moving out of mom's basement, accepting responsibility, working a job unless it caters to them, and so on. Some day they are going to be taking care of us, and it is worrisome.
And then Kirk returned the favor to end Mac’s run at ISU.
Yeah he’s off to a real great start to that....0-2 very impressive. Odds are in few years he will move on to a better program no matter how much clone fans say he won’t.
This is so insane it doesn't deserve a reply but here goes. Without looking it up, how many games in a row did Fry win against ISU? It was something like 15 and a generation of ISU fans grew up without knowing what a victory against Iowa felt like. Again without looking it up, how many ISU coaches did Fry put out to pasture? Criner and Walden were real dandies. Who else? What was Mac's record against his former boss as it wasn't good? My avatar must have had Spectre in mind!

Well ... for your sake you better hope he kicks Kirk's ass this year or next ... because after that Ames will be a fart in the wind (poof, it's gone) for Campbell.
Better hope he starts this year. I doubt many ISU coaches have lived to see many additional seasons after starting out 0-3 against Iowa. Hell, the Chiz and Rhoads even squeaked out wins within their first two seasons.
