I like going with my dad and seeing the livestock and tractors. and asking questions. and seeing the new century farms. the rest I could do without.

This was our 10th straight year attending the State Fair. My daughter(no pics) competes in the Bill Riley Talent Show and always earns a spot by winning a local competition. We wouldn't go to the fair at all if not for this, but she enjoys competing and it is important to her, therefore important to me.

Yesterday was the busiest I've ever seen it, but it was still a great day with the mild weather.

What do they mean by nothing compares to the Iowa state fair with 128K? mn state fair has broken the 200K make several times.

I don't understand the enjoyment of going somewhere where you are mostly outside in heat and humidity, stuck in traffic, surrounded by fatties.

I was dragged to both state fairs, twice. Never again.
