Hail to the victors! Ooops. Michigan and their genius coach just gave away a game after having a 16-point lead and, in doing so, stopped the Big Ten from going 8-0 this bowl season. Four TOs in the second half. Multiple dropped passes. That was one ugly performance by the boys from Ann Arbor.
Congrats, fellas. Wish you were on Iowa's schedule twice every season.

If there was one B10 team and coach you wanted to choke when perfection was on the line with everyone watching, it would be Michigan and Harbaugh. They humiliated themselves today. And yet the rest of the SEC is going down. If Oklahoma holds on and Bama gets blown out by Clemson, it'll be a perfect day.

You know a coach is bad when you want him to stay at a certain school. I feel like that with Harbaugh. They could be more dangerous with someone else,

He's way better than you guys are giving him credit for. I can't stand a lot of the antics but I'd have him as my coach anyday.

Steve Deace has a good Michigan instant reaction podcast outlining his concerns. He mentioned the data analytics for losing a game when up 16 or more with a plus 3 advantage in TOs at that point of the game were something like 0.0022%. Wow.

I wouldn't write off Harbaugh. It was his leftover 4 and 5 stars at Stanford that blew out Iowa in 1st quarter a couple years ago. Harbaugh can recruit. He needs to find himself a better QB. So far, his best QB has been Iowa cast off Ruddock.

Signing high 3,4,5 star recruits should result in a better record than what he has. Hoke had just as good a record and a much lower salary.
Brady Hoke last 3 years.
6-2 conf. 8-5 bowl loss
3-5 7-6 bowl loss
3-5 5-7 no bowl

12-12 conf. 20-18 overall 0-2 bowl game

Jim Harbaugh last 3 seasons
28-11 over all
18-8 in conference
1-3 in Bowl games

Kirk Ferentz last 3 seasons.
28 - 12 over all
18-8 in conference
1-3 in Bowl games
But you guys are correct. Jim Harbaugh sucks and I hope Michigan keeps him for a long time.
I don’t think anyone’s comparing him to KF, but when you are 1-5 against your conference rivals at Michigan; you do in fact suck.

True...if he had the same results at Ohio State, during the same time period, with highly rated recruits, today would have been his last game coaching there.

Who’s Ruddock?

Harbaugh salary $7 mil, Ferentz salary $4.5 mil.

They play in a 100,000 seat stadium, have twice the student population and Harbaugh has been to 2 NFC Championships and one Super Bowl, and brought Stanford back from the dead in 4 years. Makes perfect sense to me.

You had to type that last part and ruin that possibility, didn't you? ;-)

That was at Nordin’s house. Their fg kicker. He had committed to psu, then switched to MI. He’s from MI.

They told that story during the game today.
What they didn't say was that Harbaugh actually slept IN the boy's room on the floor. I can't imagine a grown up man sleeping in the bedroom of a17 year old kid on his floor unless he was from Penn State.

Expectations went off the charts when he was hired. People thought he would have the same effect as Meyer did at Ohio State. Hasn’t worked out that way. Opposing teams and coaches get a little juiced when Michigan comes to town because of his personality and antics. They better start delivering with wins over Sparty, OSU and make the final four or he will take his act back to the NFL.

This is "almost" as fun as Nebraska's problems.

Looks like Michigan fans are getting tired Jimmy stroking them. :p:p:p:p

They were predicted to be 3rd in the East before they ended up using their 3rd string, freshman QB. Things didn't turn out to far from predictions
