He needs matches like this. Medley again had zero interest in wrestling or trying to win, just went out with the goal of not giving up a tech.

This ref and I have different interpretations of the nearfall criteria. So slow to swipe.
Yes. He managed the match well and went 7. He may have to do that against McKee or glory at some point I loved it. On another note, is this ref the slowest counter on backs? My goodness.

I do think Spencer could benefit by being a little more loose in the 1st period. It's a fine line because it's important to be intense. But I think he expends some energy inefficiently.

I'd agree, but the weird thing is I've seen him gas all year every year when the match actually goes the full 7 until the NCAA'S. I've never seen him gas once there.
Let's hope that continues.

Yes and he could have gotten more stall calls too...but ref just standing there looking stupid.
Wolverines did not come to wrestle these matches and Ragu ducked. Pathetic showing.
