Michigan State has lost 4 of 5. Izzo is sick of the officiating.

So we can expect a blood bath when the play Iowa with no fouls called on MSU but many called on Iowa.
Or we can match the intensity of Sparty like we did Ohio State today. People in this league are standing up to Izzo’s team and he doesn’t like it. More minutes for the Murray brothers is all I have to say. We are going to continue to need to rebound the basketball.

This is not a vintage MSU team. They overachieved with 5-0 start.

Honestly, Iink Iowa has similar to better talent that MSU and some of the other upper 7 B1G teams, if Fran would buy into more Kris Murray and find a better defensively lineup vs teams with true scoring bigs.

I think Iowa wins on Tuesday. I think the league actually has listened to the complaints over the years about MSU.

Officiating is still a D for the league.
You gotta be kidding me! Izzo's next T will be the first in many years.

Izzo is a typical bully. I hope like heck the refs are ready to T him up on Tuesday night and that the Iowa fans ride him and his team without mercy. I know that's how it went in the days of yore in the old Field House when hated visitors stopped by, where I remember I sign on the upper deck façade that said, "All hope abandon, ye who enter here." Make it so on Tuesday, Hawkeyes. Give better than you get. Make Tommy the Bully cry because there IS crying in basketball.

BTW: How did Holtman get away without a T today? He was a maniac way out on the court, but the officials just ignored him. I'll give you one guess how that would have gone had the Iowa coach done the same thing. And the TV guys totally ignored it too. Double standard? LOL

I wouldn’t go that far, but I think our talent is comparable to everyone but Illinois and Purdue. Agree on the rest.

Missed what call?!

Wheeler clearly hit JBo on the elbow and/or upper arm as he stood there with his arm up and body leaning towards JBo. Was it a hard hit? No. But didn't need to be, to be a foul, in that situation.

I will just scroll right down here before reading any of this thread and say '**** izzo" as he has gotten the calls for decades and he whines and cries like a little baby.

But I have to say he learned from the best because I watched a lot of Jud Heathcote's antics in person at the old fieldhouse. He was, for some reason, given carte blanche to stand on the floor and direct his teams offense or defense during games. It was unbelievable what the refs let him get a way with with the clock running. And he was a cry baby with the refs.

He's just getting a taste of what he has coached his teams to do and does not like it when they do it to his team

Just the call you are referencing--Just letting you know what went on between him and the ref after that sequence. Holman then went on to say he thought JBO flopped on the play as well....
