I'm sure he thought he'd get the 2, but he made a bad decision when an escape ties it and he still had riding time at that point.
He let Bresser control the pace of the match and it cost him. Learn.
To be fair, Lee did not get a lot of offense off. He controlled a 2 on 1, but had very few legit attempts at the legs.
Just like Hall would have never lost to Meyer again, Lee will not lose to Bresser again.

Was thinking the same thing. Bresser should've been called for stalling. Backing up and circling for much of the match. He was incredibly quick though. Tough loss for Lee.
my interest in the rest of this tournament just plummeted.
My view...kid was on his back the last 5 secs from my view...he was in danger or at least loss of control.

He may have stalled, but he was rarely pushed to do anything. He wrestles from space and was able to get out of the 2on 1. There were only 4 takedown attempts in the match. Lee's at the end of the second period and the attempted spin behind by lee at the edge of the mat. The other 2 are Bresser's first shot and his inside trip. Lee did a heck of a job not to give up back points on the inside trip. He is definitely going to be special and I still think he is good enough to have his shirt pulled.

Why would Bresser wrestle to Lee's strength? Bresser is a smart veteran and wrestled a smart match tactic wise.
Yeah, he didn't look like the same wrestler I watched yesterday. Still hope you guys pull his shirt. The kid is special and it's nice to have the RS in your back pocket in case something unforeseen happens in the future. I like that we have Mitch McKee's available should we need it.

I was watching dam that was a fast first period did the dam clock start at 3 mins sure went fast if it did.
Lee definitely let the kid dictate the type of match that was wrestled....definitely a learning experience.... luckily it was here instead of nationals like Gilman.... pull the shirt
