Let’s talk about yesterday’s “futures and tomorrow”. Futures were down 1.2 in after hours trading yesterday. They ended up .67% by the end of the day. Let me introduce you to the concept of “more than one data point”.

I didn’t think it was possible for a President to be worse than Biden. Trump made me look dumb in less than three months.
I'm not sure if I would put a lot of stock in those numbers going forward. Once all of the civil service employees who hold those positions through administration after administration have been replaced with ones loyal to the orange asshole, they will spit out whatever numbers he wants.

I don't get all of the hate Biden gets because from my perspective he had one of the least interesting presidencies I can think of with the exception of other country's wars. His signature legislation was probably the CHIPs Act which was looking to bring chip manufacturing to the US. The worst thing he did was not step aside and let the Democrats have a primary.
I know he was old, and mumbled a lot and seemed cognitively gone but his term was also a bunch of gridlock which would be celebrated by Republicans typically.
He was weak in areas like immigration, foreign policy, and inflation. He pandered way too much to the far left, when he promised to be someone that was going to unite. Obviously his selfishness and arrogance led to him thinking he could be President for another four years, which was laughable, and it all led to Trump. Trump is already gone so crazy that the Republicans will get washed out in the midterms and it will cycle back.
He ran up 7.6 trillion dollars in debt in 4 years. Everything goes better when you create that much money from nowhere. We will soon see if Trump does the same thing. He did in his first term.
Eh his presidency for me was marked by inaction. He was too slow to act on just about everything in an age where everybody operates as fast as their thumbs let them
The debt is not just from creating money from nowhere, $1 trillion in annual interest expense, adds up.
