exactly, if there's video evidence of a break-in, and then eye-witness testimony from the police, that goes all the way to destroying any questions around what happened. As it is we have early reports of a possible third-party who may have answered the door (first reported by NBC news) other local news affiliates who gave other info that's maybe since been retracted.. the state's case against this whacko doesn't get worse by releasing any footage that backs up the latest official narratives.

What exactly is festering? Guy broke into home and attacked home owner, He was arrested, Has confessed and the DA is prosecuting. DA has no burden to prove the case to you.
Reasonable doubt is what is festering. You have video, make it an open and shut conversation.
Case doesn’t need to be prosecuted in public. Defendant will get his day in court. If there is video it will likely be used in court by either the prosecution or defense.
