Someone posted an awesome spreadsheet where you simply put ('D', 'M', 'T' or 'F') beside the winners name for the type of win, and it automatically fills everything in for you and tally's everything up. I knew that I was definitely showing homerism in many places, but, I didn't realize how badly until I saw the numbers at the end. Sure, I'm lenient with their placement, but, I don't think anything is Looney Tunes. However, I clearly went overboard on the bonus.....oh well. The only teams that I did bonus points for was PSU, OSU, Iowa, tOSU and Michigan. The others are just based on placement with regular decisions. Here we go:

I think the co-Hodge is completely stupid. Pick the more dominant wrestler and give it to him.

It is really tough to say who is more dominant. The numbers are almost identical. I'd give it to Nolf, as I think 157 is a deeper weight class. I feel bad for whichever one doesn't win it.

I like Nolf on body of work (I know Nickal's is also amazing) and the fact that he has never once been out of pocket in any way. He's all time class in a way that is magnified by just how dominant he is. Personally don't like the way Nickal helps people up when they clearly don't want him to, but that is exceptionally minor. Don't have any real problem with Bo, I just would like to see Nolf win it, personally.

Edit: I'd actually like to see both of them lose, and see Marinelli win it!

Nolf, of course is great. But, Nickal is a guy that does something miraculous in seemingly every match. I’d take Bo every time over Nolf, given they both won titles.

I have to agree. I’d take either of them in black and gold but if I had to pick, it would be Nickal. That kid is so damn good and just when you think you get in deep, he locks up a cradle and pins you.

I dont think Psu will hit 170 but if it means Lee and Bull get titles, Id be fine with it.

These predictions look pretty sound to me. Like you, I think it's going to be very tough for Marinelli to score bonus points. I simply want him to focus on the Ws. A couple notes, I like the way Berge has been wrestling but I don't think he'll place that high...think he waits till next year to get his AA. Also, I also think you have Marsteller and Shields a tad high at 65. Other than those minor issues, I think you predictions look pretty pretty reasonable. I have no issues with your predictions for Iowa at 49 or 84, as both men have proven they have the ability to hand-fight and play defense just long enough to lose critical matches. I think Lugo has an outside chance to AA, but I give Cash zero chance...Cash is extremely talented, but he just doesn't get on his offense. The only difference between the way he wrestled last year and this year is that he's 13 pound lighter. Same hand-fighting horse shit, same lack of offense. I hope he proves me wrong as I think he has the goods to AA; we just rarely see the goods. :(

Actually, these are pretty good predictions, but don't you have your own board to post this on?

Them Penn State boys love to post how good they are here..Seems like they trying to convince us this will last forever. Who knows it might but they still have a long ways to go to win 23 nationals, 25 in a row big ten titles, have 9 champs and than 7 champs in one year. Give them credit they are working at it and yes I hate it. :)

Just got back from the finals with my time machine. I won't give individual spoilers, but here are the team results. Iowa wrestled about as well as they possibly could have, but they still weren't even close. Kemerer would have made it interesting, but it still wouldn't have been enough.

1 Penn State 147.5
2 Iowa 125
3 Ohio State 91.5
4 Minnesota 84.5
5 Oklahoma State 84.5
6 Missouri 65
7 Cornell 57
8 Michigan 57
9 Rutgers 50.5
10 Nebraska 49.5

Please let them know how great they are . I haven't seen a post on bwi that someone hasn't mentioned HR . They must need some love from you guys here, just give them the recognition they crave . After all They Are .........
In need of your approval.

I did post it on BWI too. The fact that some of you are getting upset about me posting a set of predictions that I admit are completely biased is pretty sad.

I thought your post was fine. I assume you want an outsider (to Penn state) view. I only picked champs. Mine were the same as yours except for 174 and heavy, there I picked Zahid and Gable respectively.
