They were totally in doubt...a couple SV wins in there.

The only matches that weren't in doubt were Wick's wins over Bull. He dominated him twice, both at NCAAs

Edit: looked it up,

Bull won 4-3, 6-4 in SV, 2-1, and 4-2.

I believe the strategy was to get two takedowns in the first period because he was likely to get ridden out if I remember right.

Score wise perhaps. I wasn't insinuating he was teching him, but you can handle a guy by a point and realize you have little danger of losing. It does happen. Regardless, you beat a guy 4 times in a row you're doing alright.

Parris has wrestled four years, so he can get a free fifth. Steveson and RBY could as well but sound like they won't take it. Parris has the same WWE NIL deal that Steveson and Ferrari signed so I guess it's possible he'd skip it as well, especially since Schultz and Kerk have both beaten him handily now. He still has Cass' number but he's fallen behind the rest so waiting out Gable to win a title seems less likely.
