Correct. Nice honors for the Iowa guys, but doesn't make a difference in selection to NCAA tournament. And it shouldn't.

Some team must be gaining in early conference tournament games because as of right now Iowa's RPI has gone from 69 to 71..

The RPI is what it is. It will drive you crazy trying to figure it out. At this point, it doesn't really matter. If we win 2 more games, we will be in. If we don't, it's the NIT. We just have to win.
