If GA were the better 74, he would have been there and Brands would have been at 84, with Kennedy as the odd man out. You don't pay for Parco, Teemer and Buch and ask your better wrestler to bump when you have another option at the weight. Enough of this. GA may have a better career but Kennedy is a stud a will likely be a 2x AA while competing at weights owned by OToole, Carr, Messenbrink, Haines, Hamiti etc...

GA is uber talented. He needs to work on his mental health. I think that is the only thing holding him back. PK earned his spot last year and will have to earn it next year too. He absolutely understands this.

Thanks for pointing this out. I think it's obvious GA is the more athletic one of the two, but didn't seem to let it fly up at 184. There could be a bunch of different reasons for that, but I hope it doesn't follow him to 174. He's one of the better scramblers on the team and I would guess he wins most of those scrambles. Gotta have the confidence to let it fly - IMO

Agree 100%. I feel like with his strength and athleticism, add a little more confidence or just a willingness to let it fly without fear of losing and he could be a larger version of Caliendo. Will still be a battle with PK, who showed more diverse offense and better scrambling this tourney. Feel bad for whomever isn't the guy next year, but good problem to have I guess.
