That's a pretty harmless jab. He also said Iowa gave the game away this year as well as two years ago. He said he hopes that's the last time he plays them because they're a tough team to play against.
I don't view those comments as classless.
I just love it how when Iowa wins, nothing happens. Its quite and life goes on as normal. No players jumping up and down and screaming and talking trash. They just go on like normal day to day life.

What happened in the second half? Everyone on ISU was awful in the first half. I'm just glad we were good enough to overcome it.

Matt Thomas started guarding Uthoff and he was the best defender on him, but I'm sure you were too busy booing to notice.
Niang did have two switches on Uthoff where he stopped him in the post in the 2nd half though. I wanted Iowa to just go at whomever Niang was guarding, especially out on the perimeter. But I guess you can keep thinking Niang is a good defender, whatever floats your boat.

Because Jok was poked in eye and had blurred vision rest of game after he came out on fire when your D keyed on JU. Then our seniors pissed it away at the very end like they've done for 4 years now.
Don't you have other players capable of scoring? I'll be honest, Uthoff had the best half of basketball I've ever seen by a college player. I couldn't even get mad, that was a clinic. Then it seemed like he didn't have that killer instinct the second half. I saw a couple times he hesitate then passed it off.
If you guys can get Uthoff to be the go to guy or at LEAST have the ball go through him every position, you are no doubt a tourney team and one I wouldn't want to face given the ability to get hot and shoot.
I also thought Woodbury killed you guys down the stretch. Almost had black hole syndrome.

This Senior class is flawed, they could beat anyone but they won't. The last 4 years have proven this. Woodbury had about 5 dunk opportunities in 2nd half but he can't jump then kicks it out and disaster occurred.
How many times do we need to go through the very same exercise, kinked? If you want to talk about basketball history comparisons of Iowa and isu, then just say so. You don't have to sneak around (and completely avoid HR altogether as was the case all during the football season). Be a real isu supported and make your case for isu basketball.

The only history that really matter is the last 5-10 years. High School recruits could care less if you were great in the 70's and 80's, they weren't even alive, it's all about what have you done lately. Go ask Nebraska in football. Yes, ISU lost to UAB last year as a 3, it's the tournament, it happens. It's happened to Duke, NC, Kentucky, and some team from Northwestern State beat someone as well several years ago.

I imagine the Hawks have some nice kids on there team. Just because i dislike them as basketball players dont mean they are thugs and not class acts. Means that when they win. They are allowed to have fun and poke the other players of the other team. Btw did you know that almost all of these guys ate friends off the court. They all know each other from aau ball, playing 4 years against each other, basketball camps and so on. So a lot of times its them messing with there friends. Because, I don't recall any other team as a #3 seed that lost to a #14 seed last March? Excusing it as if it is some every day or even every tourney occurrence is silly.
As for football, I'll continue to rely upon isu as a point of reference. History or present... things do not seem to change very much. No championships (since 1912), no January bowls, only three bowl wins in the entire history of the program.... aw, you get what I am saying.
As long as they are part of the Jayhawk conference, ISU needs to shut it.
