NIL and being transparent

Who says your money contributed to getting said player?

Perhaps the donors that are footing the bill are perfectly aware of and fine with it?
You don't think this kind of stuff puts doubts in people's minds though? Im not talking about the businesses or thr people who are against NIL...you aren't going to persuade them anyway.

It's the people who are on the fence or deciding whether to contribute more. So far it seems the only benefit to NIL for Iowa Football has been retaining talent...not so much portal additions.

Maybe that is enough to keep people donating. But I can't see why this isn't a bad look. I'm trying to look at this from a larger viewpoint. If Brad is looking to get more than 3k fans (which is a number I thought he said).... I don't see how this type of news helps. That's all I'm saying. Hope I'm wrong

Bullshit.
I'm glad news like this doesn't persuade you either way, but I don't see how this helps further the NIL donor numbers at scale.

I would think it puts doubt in people's minds. Not businesses or large donors, but normal people who are either on the fence or looking to donate more. Brad mentioned only 3k donors

Again hope I'm wrong

This should be obvious to everyone...and I'm sure it is to most (I hope)...

The collectives do not decide who to offer. They take their direction from the staff on who to pay. Any anger towards the collective(s) is misguided. You have a GM, a part of his job is to vet things like injuries. Your frustration should be with him and not with those trying to raise money to help you program out.
