I guess my favorite hobby of drinking and ordering a truck load of product from Temu just to see how crappy it is is over.Soooo....I guess he's putting Amazon out of business then?

Doesn’t this just funnel business to UPS and FedEx?Soooo....I guess he's putting Amazon out of business then?
Oh, ok. Yet another way this administration is trying to increase costs for Americans.Doesn’t this just funnel business to UPS and FedEx?
It doesn’t say it bans parcels, it says USPS is not importing them.
No, the play is to kill e-commerce from China. When you order from Ali Express it would pass through customs and get forwarded to the USPS and mailed to your house. He already ****ed it by adding the tariffs to all order instead of the <$800 exemption.Doesn’t this just funnel business to UPS and FedEx?

@bunsen82 the play here is buy UPS and FedEx options, right?
I’d seen mention of potential changes to the de minimus rules, hadn’t seen that it had been acted upon yet.No, the play is to kill e-commerce from China. I've had orders come directly through UPS from a manufacture in China but it was under $800. The one order I brought in over was done through DHL. DHL sets up a link and allows you to pay the tariff while it is in transit. I haven't seen anything on UPS or Fed ex that shows they provide the service. All orders had to clear customs in China and the US.Any reason they can’t shift to shipping through others? Aside from their need to expand capacity?
I feel that I’ve ordered stuff from China that didn’t deliver via USPS. I know I’ve dealt with various tracking sites, and I know usps wasn’t the final leg for some of that stuff.
Ali Express and Amazon too.Cutting off Shein, Temu, and probably the Tik Tok shop may be what finally results in revolution.
