No, we're not going to forget

Keep doubling down on the stupid
That's what you're doing here.

Because "whistleblowers" don't post Youtube videos of nonsense. They push observations into the chain of command.

IF there were an emergency, there's simply no way the Joint Chiefs would cover that up and compromise military readiness. At all. It is literally WHY they require those vaccines - they maximize/maintain military readiness regardless of Covid spread.

That's why I know your sources are BS. Military command would simply not allow anything otherwise.

You're assuming they're ready to be forthcoming and responsive in admitting these vaccines f'd up the lives of many servicemen and women. These things take time. We're talking about the taboo subject of vaccines, and the COVID vaccines at that. They're still trying to push those on people and there's still a lot of money to be made.

Everything/everyone in this world is forthcoming, honest, transparent, righteous, etc., etc., etc.. And all information is rapidly known to the public as it happens. The wizard always keeps the curtain open so you can see what his dumb ass is doing at all times. You know how things are Joe....quit playing stupid and acting like everyone else is too.

That's just it. They haven't really come out and said exactly what it is that they understand what they did wrong, that we're supposed to offer amnesty for. Just saying "we didn't know" sounds like nothing but an excuse, especially since they were, (and still are) trying to silence the experts who actually did/do know.
Not that I really care butt does this amnesty include for Trump for all this Covid?

Uh...their job and priority is "military readiness"

If the vaccines, themselves, impacted military readiness, they would be discontinued. Period.

Bingo. couThe insanity on the left and some on the right during Covid is the reason test scores are down across thentry, some businesses shut down for good, and people were fired over misinformation(vaccine stops spread). Every Republican should be shouting this for the next week but they wont as they are all worried about the latest culture issue that rarely affects voters. The only one that consistently talks about their 'Covid' record is DeSantis and its the reason he will win the Presidency in '24.
Bullshit.....sorry hawkland, it is just right-wing rationalization bull shit. "Blood in the water" for cons and magats, as it were.

Because your news doesn’t tell you that?
Its all water under the dam....Instead of pissing and moaning about it, its time to get caught up....what is done is done....time to move on.
Jan....I just dislike folks who think and root in the past.....Life is not fair. Why do you want to point fingers at stuff you had no control over? Its a phuquin' waste of energy. Perhaps you need to read "Bad Things Happen to Good People".....as therapy.
What's done is done......right?

Absolutely ridiculous. No, you don’t just move on. We need to evaluate and analyze what actions were taken and what was effective and not effective, what was worth the cost, and what wasn’t.
We’d better learn from our mistakes, so we don’t make them again during the next pandemic.

You do not believe this is being/has been done? I think everyone connected to Covid has been taken down a notch or two where necessary. Main mistake was this "communication" was so poorly organized from the top down. And the top would be Trump/White House. It was poorly organized from the get-go........typical of "Trump Organization" SOP. Were others in the government guilty....probably but "mixed messaging" was the order of the day. And the messaging starts at the top. Fearless Leader pooh=poohed the whole thing....honestly, suggesting ingesting bleach or shining light internally as possible cures????

Now explain to me the connection you are trying to make here, Jan. Are you referencing 1/6/21?
That too. We had control over the schooling situation. I get early on the uncertainty, but remote learning went on far too long. Masks on kids in school went on far too long. Hell, there’s a district in Washington that are still trying to make kids where masks.

We did have control over the length of time.

Of ****ing course. It was just the Trump administration that made mistakes. Why am I not surprised.

It’s absolutely not being done yet. In large part because I think many agencies don’t consider the pandemic officially over.
Covid was devastating enough to our economy, society, education system, healthcare system, supply chain and so much more, that it really deserves its own 9/11 style commission to write a detailed report of lessons learned.

What's done is done......right?
But 1) it's still happening, and 2) nobody seems to be owning up to or apologizing for the despicable policies that were being implemented, they're just giving excuses and then asking that we all forgive and move on.

They're saying that nobody knew, but there WERE people that knew and they were (and still are) being silenced on most of the social media platforms. In light of that, does it make any sense at all to offer amnesty or move on at this point? It's pretty clear that the left is trying to save some votes from the push-overs before the election. It's a pathetic but smart move on their part but I doubt it's going to make much of a difference.

Accountability, not amnesty is what is needed. We had multiple people right here on HROT backing (some probably still do) this ridiculous bs. You know who you are and yes you should be ashamed of yourselves.

"The problem was not people's ignorance of the facts, it was the organized antagonism and censorship against anyone presenting data that was contradictory to the mandate agenda. This is setting aside proclamations like those from the LA Times, which argued that mocking the deaths of "anti-vaxxers" might be necessary and justified. After two years of this type of arrogant nonsense it's hard to imagine people will be willing to pretend as if all is well.

The active effort to shut down any opposing data is the root crime, though, and no, it can never be forgotten or forgiven."

"One cannot help but notice that the timing of the Atlantic's appeal for passive forgetfulness coincides with the swiftly approaching midterm elections, in which polls suggest a much greater chance of a conservative upset than Democrats previously expected. Though the Atlantic doesn't admit it, there is a growing political backlash to the last two years of meaningless lockdowns and mandates, and Democrats were instrumental in the implementation of both. A large swath of the population sees one party as the cause of much of their covid era strife.

Perhaps the mainstream media is suddenly realizing that they may have to face some payback for their covid zealotry? “We didn't know! We were just following orders!” It all sounds rather familiar."

Commission? Give me a break. We just had the Jan 6 commission that clearly showed Trump’s direct involvement with trying to bypass democracy and more people ended up saying the election was stolen. Facts are not important any longer, only what Fox News and other right wing extremists tell their viewers what they want to be true. It’s terrifying that so many can’t see this shift to authoritarianism and will actively vote for those that want to do away with democracy.

If you are out actively voting aren't you actually participating in and supporting democracy?

Don't be confused with voting to do away with democracy with voting to do away with Democrats.

When you go shopping now there is one person out of a hundred wearing a mask.

Are they still trying to protect me form covid or was the whole wear your mask to protect others bullshit as well?

No we haven't forgotten.

OP is stupid, his links to russian disinformation sites are stupid and anyone who is still anti-vaxx are stupid.
I would put a middle category between the anti-vax conspiracy nuts and the "all in" government officials always tell the full truth crowd and create a cautiously optimistic crowd who recognizes there are some potential side-effects like myocarditis in young males age 12 to 39 (as one example).

As always, people should talk to their physician and weigh potential side-effects against their current health. I like the fact that (once again) Bill Maher calls a spade a spade when discussing the pandemic; no one wanted to talk about the fact Americans are very unhealthy and it made us very susceptible to COVID killing a large swath of diabetic obese people.

Disclaimer: I was double poked in April/May 2020. Mostly to protect my vulnerable parents/in-laws. They are all triple boosted now and I've not needed a booster myself and breezed through COVID this summer.

People are dumb in different levels of extreme (1 year ago, but still true)
