Breanna Stewart is putting on a clinic tonight. That said, I feel like Boston is having the same problem Clark is. Nothing in this offense is geared to take advantage of the strengths of these players. Everything is a play where it is one player against one or more defenders. Maybe they are trying a new offense and just haven't learned it yet but it looks just awful right now.
As my son keeps telling me, they had the number 1 pick for a reason. To which I remembered it was 2 years in a row, and they may have had the number 2 before that?
They are poor, just a hodgepodge of role players and AB, whom I love as a human being. Misses copious layups and has since I started watching her a few years ago. Clark is out of sync for sure, but she honestly doesn’t know what they want her to do. You don’t draft a ball handler and play her routinely off the ball unless your screening for looks and they aren’t doing that for anyone🤷♂️
I would love to see Caitlin get some threes to drop in the second half.

Couldn't catch the first half of the game, but it looks like that was a good thing. Man, this sucks to see CC struggling like this. I can only assume the offensive scheme hasn't improved since last game. But it looks like she's shooting less and trying to facilitate the ball more.
After watching almost one and a half WNBA games I get why nobody watches.

It's dreadful. They are so outgunned, it's tough to watch. They'll be 0-4 to start the season with a 2 game west coast road trip & a game against the Aces upcoming. I wonder how long the coach will last.
Best spacing they’ve had all night on that drive by Boston and then they promptly get a lay up down deep and lose it out of bounds
I was thinking the same thing. Fever is very poorly coached team IMO and someone else commented the coach is not bright enough to leverage CC and Boston's strengths. Not to mention they are playing a half-court game and do not have 3/4 shooters.
At this point IMO Boston is overrated as well.
Think about this for a second… She is way out of sync and not playing particularly well… And she is still far away the best player on the fever, I think, isn’t she?
At least they'll get another #1 pick to join CC next year. LOL
Anyone notice that the player that subbed Caitlin was left wide open? It's almost like teams are doing whatever it takes to ensure CC always has someone attached to her hip. They don't treat other players like that.
I feel like they have made a concerted effort to feed Boston more under the basket. The problem is Stewart is absolutely destroying them there. Clark has had a few really good feeds to her. Players out of position is killing them.

Honestly, as bad as they are when she’s on the court, I think they’re dramatically worse when she’s off.
The offense or lack there of, completely breaks down at that point. They have made a couple threes and closed gaps a few times, but man is this team ugly, how the hell bad were they last year?

95 out of the 144 players in the league were All Americans in college. Playing a 1/2 court game against those athletes is a disaster for CC. They need to push the pace but don't seem to have the roster for it.
She’s got 2 points and on the plus minus side she’s minus 17. I’m not sure who I would say their best player is, not sure they have one but at this point it’s not her.
I've never seen players abandon their position faster than when Caitlin has the ball. Everyone just runs towards her to box her in.
This is a team with no identity right now. Hopefully the chemistry will come and soon. Sides needs to run some sets/plays for CC to get her some space. Right now she's being held a lot.
