Mac will commit this week. Signs point to Iowa, but the timing is strange considering he visited LSU just a week ago..
Blair forecasted him to LSU this AM.
Tyler Barnes unfollowed him on Twitter. He gone. fYI if you're on Twitter and want an indicator when we lose recruits follow @iowacoachalert. He/She updates every time a coach on the staff follows or unfollows someone.
It amazes me how many kids want to play for that slime ball Brian Kelly.
Why trash 18 year olds for a decision? There are hundreds of schools to pick from. Believe or not but there are plenty of others who can develop nfl caliber players outside of little ol Iowa.
Have never gotten the vibe that Mac was going to commit to Iowa. But this isn't one that hurts. Iowa always finds TEs.
LSU is down at the moment and Brian Kelly is who he is but at the end of the day many kids want to play for a blue blood and a big name program/coach that traditionally are in the national spotlight and compete for championships.
Not saying Iowa isn't in the discussion some years, such as this past year, but we seem to get picked over a lot against the big boys 😔
He's my age and he would lower himself to such levels. OH wait, as long as he did it with his new southern accent it's probably alright. I wonder if he has kids who are cringing right now.
From his days at Wisconsin, Iowa fans know that Bert and Kirk recruit similar kids.
Unfortunately, this probably won't be a singular incident.

Why, they're beneficiaries of the slime? It doesn't get much slimier than LSU.
Let's be honest...average/below average QB play makes it difficult to attract 4☆ talent at the WR/TE positions.
Yeah, when Patton announced that he had lots of guys tweeting at him, Nwankpa, Mota, I think maybe Bruce, saying stuff about going from Hawk to Hawk so the guys are working on him. Also, both Patton and Black have scheduled their OVs to Iowa in June.
They’re all before the Iowa offer. Bock recently lowered his CB confidence too.
All from September of last year. Always pay attention to the date CB picks are put in.
Iowa is very much in that race.
Thanks, I did see Bock had a confidence level of 2. I don't follow recruiting as close as I used to and did not realize that. Usually with that many crystal balls to one school that is worrisome but that makes more sense.
Just a shirt but wearing the Tiger Hawk at a showcase is a good look.
