*****Official 2023 NCAA tournament games thread*****

Fran doesn't have the necessary amount of open scholarships needed to rebuild a team like FAU's coach had. What players Iowa has on their roster is what he has to work with, like it or not, it's the reality that we have to deal with.
Saying something in all bold doesn't make it true. I don't bet, especially with people I don't know, but I think it is very likely that Iowa will bring in another player, who will be a key part of the rotation, in addition to Brauns.

Teams are struggling with shooting.
Such a contrast from the ksu vs MSU game.
CU is 2 of 16 from the arc.
Good tight ballgame.

How can little ol’ Creighton be so good?
I wouldn't overreact to being 3-0 against a slate of NC State, a floundering Baylor, and Princeton though. NCAA tournament is a crapshoot and I'm positive they usually don't get this far most of the time, with this and especially any other draw.

Terrible shooting both ways and a dream draw for CU. Crazy one of these teams are Final 4. Wilson ball? Jays 0-10 from 3 in 2nd half, hard to win.

SDSU 56 - Creighton 54 with 33.7 left. Aztec ball. Creighton just had a shot hit the rim 3 times and roll off.

Maybe technically a foul by the strictest application of the rule book, but don't think you blow the whistle on something like that, in THAT situation.

Creighton = screwed by a touch foul.
Yeah, let the teams decide it in overtime. That ref gets his 15 minutes of fame though
