SDSU is athletic team and took down Alabama. Miami is athletic and took down uber athletic Houston..
With all the #1s getting beat, it is wide open tourney.

I don't see an Iowa team making sweet16 without a major upgrade to athleticism. Regardless of who
is Iowa's coach, I don't think you can make sweet16 with guys like PMAC, Rebraca, Sandfort making up most of your front line. I do think Iowa has potential for talented guards/shooters. The comments about Iowa players
lacking muscle seems true. Bowen, Dix, Sandfort lacking muscle.

When was the last time zero #1's made it out of the Sweet Sixteen?
Interested to know if it's ever happened.

Edit: From the LA Times:
"leaving the NCAA tournament without a single No. 1 seed among its final eight teams for the first time since seeding began in 1979."

Lots of teams showing you don't need really tall players to win or even be physical around the basket. Houston-Miami game was a great example. I don't know if anyone playing on either team is more than 6-8, but the guys are incredibly strong and physical. Hawks need a couple of those guys to go with their shooters.

I had only one #1 making it, with 2 of my FF still alive,

a race to the middle.

This year has to be the brokenest bracket tourney ever.
Before the season I would not have picked a single team out of that list to make it.
Ok..maybe Texas
