Put a solid 1-2-3 on Michigan this inning and you'd have to think that the wind will be out of their sails.
First since the B10 tourney has been in Omaha. But only the first in the B10 tourney overall since 2017.

Not able to watch other than clips, but Danan Hughes does an awesome job calling games! Would really like to see him replace Eddie P. once he moves on! Not sure if they could get Danan away from the Chiefs broadcasts.
I was wondering if the 5 run lead would change Michigan's pitching strategy. They are not using their top bullpen pitchers and that could pay off huge for Iowa. Let's see if the hitters can take advantage.
As an aside, the white home unis with the black script "Iowa" coupled with the yellow lid, black bill, black script "I" is an outstanding look. Love that they broke it out for today's game.

I agree but I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn.
The ball arrives at his glove as the runner's foot touches first, but the 1B hadn't "closed his glove yet".
Even if it's only ball has to be in glove, then it's a literal tie, which as we all know, should go to the runner (especially if that runner plays for Iowa.....
)
