*****Official B1G Baseball Tournament Games Thread. #3 IOWA vs #1 Maryland, Sunday 2:00 PM CT, BTN*****

Just remember that bases loaded and nobody out in the top of the 5th. I called how much of a momentum swing that half of an inning was.

Let's not get sloppy on D! No reason to dive for that ball in CF with a 9 run lead and then follow that up with an error at 2nd.

Nope, "something soon" was what I read. It was in a tweet you posted.

Heller was interviewed by Iowa press yesterday. There is a video of the interview on-line (pretty sure it was DMR). He indicated that he's advised that it could be "any day." He also indicated that "all of the information" has to be provided and his comments suggested that "additional information" may have been requested and not yet supplied. It wasn't a particularly hopeful comment.

(On a sidenote, someone I trust informed me today that a key ISU football positional player is implicated and that ISU has begun implementing a contingency plan)

Zach fouls out last out.

This strike zone is incredibly bad.

Hawks have Sam, the other Sam. Michael and Kyle due up. Would like to see Kyle get a solid base hit. We're going to need everyone on deck going forward.

Nope, Heller is not messing around and I don't blame him.

any idea what the 4 suspended players can do/cannot do?

ie, can they use the Iowa facilities? Can Keaton use the Iowa batting cage? (I am guessing the answer is no)

Or do they have to do throwing, batting practice, working out, etc all on their own?

Awesome win for the Hawks and it's got me dreaming on a 'ship. Imagine if Brecht can bring his A game on Thursday?

No but I did find it interesting that the game I went too (MSU) that Anthony was in uniform. So I'd speculate he can at least use the facilities.

Interesting decision now for Heller.
Langenberg throws 72 pitches last Friday.
Brecht threw 79 pitches on Saturday. However, very few of Brecht's pitches would have been considered "high leverage." Certainly far less stressful pitches when compared to Langenberg's 4 innings.

My guess is that Brecht pitches if the opponent is Indiana. If the opponent is Illinois, I would guess that Heller leans going with Langenberg.

him being in uniform is interesting; i thought the suspended players wouldn't even be on the bench

the penalty so far has been 10 games
