That's a pretty good comparison.I do like Smith. She takes some incredibily poor shots though. Kind of reminds me of PMAC.

I tuned in to one non-Fever game and it was almost unwatchable. The skill/talent level really is like watching boys HS basketball. But I gave it a shot, at least. As of now, I’m sticking to only Caitlin Clark games.I’m still not watching many teams outside of the fever.
Any good wife would wear flats if she's taller than her husband.Diana Tarausi rocking the new Dwight Shrute collection
I would not watch anyone play except the Aces & Liberty play someone, besides the Fever. They play real basketball, the Seattle storm are kind of fun, but even those teams struggle wildly you have to get through your head. These women play under the rim, not above it. It also then puts into perspective how good CC and actually the rest of these rookies are. This has a lot of girls that aren’t particularly talented. Then go look at some of their stats and their first, second ,third year, it took a lot of them multiple years to get to the level they’re at and again that makes you appreciate where CC is all the more..I tuned in to one non-Fever game and it was almost unwatchable. Rest will go a long way to help thatHopefully she’ll be working to fix her shot over break…
Caitlin's turnovers are excessive, but for all that is made of it she's averaging just a little more than 1 per game more than Taurasi and Loyd. What follows is how CC compares to the Olympian guards.
As you can see, CC leads in 6 of the 9 categories.
I agree, but this is the important part, Vegas is putting their money where their mouth is and they stand to lose shit tons of money if they have wildly inaccurate odds.
someone will use this in their ROY argument
Future odds are a popularity contest…they go up and down based on where the money is being bet. They are calculated so that the house is guaranteed to win money.
Meh.People need to stop supporting this trash league
LOLOL.. no doubt.....
Absolutely. And at this point why should she do the leagues bidding? She literally carrying their asses from a month before the draft until now. Quite the load carrying that carcass for the last 5 months....I think it simply comes down to money. If you want AAA talent to show up to an event you need to pay AAA fees. $2k isn't going to cut it.
They said that on "Around the Horn" last night. That she "needed to tell them why" she opted out. Bullshit. Clarks holding damn near all the cards right now as she's carried the league since April. She doesn't owe them or the media anything. They were saying she and Ionescu should just give their reasons, but since they have not, it has become a bigger deal than it would have been. They speculated that she just wants the time off, that she was afraid to lose and give haters ammo, or that she just doesn't want to overshadow everyone else and let others have their moment in the sun. I think it could be that the all-star/team usa game is going to be played a lot more fiercely than previous such games, and that people want to be as well-rested for the game as possible.
I would guess they would go in a different direction. First find someone who can consistently hit 3-pointers, and then another post playerWould Lucy Olsen be someone the Fever would have a chance to draft next year?
Whoever they draft, you can expect them to be cut before the end of their rookie year.I would guess they would go in a different direction. First find someone who can consistently hit 3-pointers, and then another post player
Such a good read.Fantastic article
Caitlin Clark's early brilliance parallels Tiger Woods, from talent to skeptics
Caitlin Clark, Tiger Woods both had doubters early on: those who couldn’t believe someone so young could rise to the top so quickly.www.indystar.com
