And, I read where Barkley was pissed and said he'd retire because he isn't going anywhere but TNT. Funny stuff. Who knows how many will scatter?

I have no desire to watch 3x3 men OR women because they are not playing for any real championship.
I just don't see people tuning in for it; we'll see, I guess....
Plus the men are no names.
If the team's were more regional like the Murray bros and Luka playing together, I'm watching.
I kinda hope Clark just lays low and works on her game. If she focused on even one of: pull-ups, left handles,(and maybe 1v1 defense, to go with her 3pt. work, she will dominate in S2 in the WNBA. Build on the desire for fans to see her play.
What's more important for her personally? I'd imagine her W goals come first at this point, and she wasn't satisfied with everything in her rookie year.

The WSJ article was written by sports writer Rachel Bachman. A few weeks ago she wrote WSJ piece entitled She Was Caitlin Clark Before Caitlin Clark. Now She’s Shooting for a Title. Bachman opines that had the 2020 NCAA women's tournament not been cancelled, Sabrina Ionescu would have been the household name across America. The article is behind a paywall, but you get the picture.
Either Rachel has an agenda or she is seriously stupid.
I guess but its the same argument we have about so many coaches. Is Harbough or Day really that much better a coach then Kirk or do they just have access to way better players for an overall roster, Same thing with Bluder vs Mulkey or Geno?

I don't see it either. The only time they need Clark is when they want something. It was ok for them to berate her, call her fans racist, mysogynistic, etc. The "Physicalty" with her, even going after her eyes. If she doesn't play (and I don't think she will), no one is going to care to see that crap.

Caitlin should say that she can play starting mid season and then play with Kelsey and Aliyah. Then she can show that the ratings are pathetic for the first half of the season and then incredible once she shows up.
Am I the only one that thinks this will fail not because of the game or the players, but because they are underestimating the attention of NCAA basketball (men and women), NBA, and the NHL? The majority of people don't really need/want more time with the WNBA players when there is so much already going on.

It's time for Iowa basketball and hockey. The WNBA can have their summer time when those things are done.
That is very much true. It will also fail because 3 on 3 basketball is boring. There’s a reason the attempted men’s leagues have failed to matter. Add to that the fact that the game will be played under the rim and you end up with something I wouldn’t bet a dime of my own money on succeeding. Maybe a few sponsors will prop it up for a few years I guess.
